The idea comes from experience. “Having struggled with my own mental health, I know how difficult things can get, and how important it is to have a positive outlet and people around you,” says RMC coach Rio McDonald. “That’s why I’m proud to be starting RMC Mind Over Matter.”

The aim is simple: bring men together, get active, build confidence, make new connections, and create a space where people know they’re not alone.

Boxing. Get active, learn skills and build confidence. No boxing experience is needed, and all abilities are welcome.

Community. Meet new people and support each other.

Conversation. A safe space to talk, or just listen. Talk if you want to, listen if you prefer. No judgement.

You don’t need to be at your lowest to come along. Whether you’re going through a difficult time, feeling stressed, or simply want to meet good people and do something positive, you’re welcome.
