Alba Combat | Glasgow | Fight Team Sponsor
The RMC Fight Team has new kit, and it was made just up the road. Glasgow fight-gear brand Alba Combat has come on board as a sponsor, kitting the team out with new sparring kits.
Alba Combat was founded in Glasgow on a simple belief: every young person deserves the confidence that comes from training hard and being properly equipped to do it. The aim is to break down the barriers that stop the next generation getting into combat sports, pairing affordable prices with quality that doesn’t cut corners. In their own words: “Born in Glasgow. Built for the Next Generation.”
It’s a belief that fits right in at RMC Boxing, where no experience is needed and every fighter starts somewhere.
Alba’s range covers everything a fighter needs to spar. Their Pro Boxing Gloves are made from genuine cowhide leather, come in lace-up and Velcro, and perform “straight out of the box — no extended break-in required.” The Pro Head Guards are built “for serious sparring and fight preparation,” and the range also includes groin guards, shin guards and MMA gloves.
The gear is already turning up in good company: Alba gloves were on show in Brian “Fortified” Hyslop’s Fortified series.
The timing couldn’t be better. The team is in camp for RMC x StarBorn at Hampden Park on 5 December, and quality sparring kit means harder rounds, done safely. A massive thank you to Alba Combat for backing the team. 🤝
